Colin Paul and the Persuaders

I started playing in the early 60s in a band called Jennifer and the Courtelles round the local venues. I later worked backing the acts in the Social clubs which taught me a lot.

I've been in numerous bands over the years playing all styles of music. I joined 60s band "the Images" after my stints backing different people and next a blues band called the "blues widows" followed by a mad blues /rock /comedy band called Eric and the Frantics.

I did a couple of years in Blackpool with a 60s band called the "Spencer band" and later did a swap with my good friend Andy who was in a band who played all over the country. He didn't enjoy the travelling so he took over with the "Images" and I went with his band "Vintage" eventually this band became "Rock back the Clock" who I am still with today.

In 2016 I have had the pleasure of playing in The Persuaders backing Colin and I have been there ever since. A great bunch of talented lads, really looking forward to getting out again doing what we do best and seeing all our Rock n Roll friends who we've all really missed being with.
